We recognize that the land above the minerals is just as important.  There are many uses beyond just a pad for a well.  Storage facilities, fracking ponds, pipelines, roads, housing, office and warehouse spaces play huge roles in supporting production and transportation of the minerals.  

Alternative energy production such as wind and solar are also excellent sources of surface royalty income.  In this age of AI explosion, data center operators are always looking for affordable land adjacent to power and water to locate the next generation of servers.

The East Texas Company owns approximately 240 acres in the Permian Basin in Loving and Culberson Counties.
